Herefordshire Mind Outreach Service is designed to help people who have had, or are experiencing, mental health problems to access opportunities in their community.
We are able to meet with you in your own home or at other venues within your community. By providing a 'one to one' service we may help you to feel more confident to participate in all kinds of activities you would not otherwise take part in. We are a short-term, no longer than 3-6 months, but highly individualised service.
We can support you to plan the next steps on your recovery journey, enable you to find out what other support is available to you, provide information designed to help you to utilise and build upon your own skills and knowledge.
You can refer yourself to our service by phone, email or writing to us at the address opposite. Your GP or other health professionals are able to refer you to our service directly. To be eligible to receive a service you must want to receive the service, be a resident in Herefordshire, have experience of mental distress and be aged 17 or over.
