We provide a variety of activities to help create positive change in the lives of people experiencing mental health problems and to give them somewhere where they feel safe to talk about their mental health. Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to get the latest news about our groups and courses. You can also check our Events Calendar for all the latest goings on.
Do you like stories? Can you remember the last time someone read to you? If you'd like to listen to some great literature - short stories and poems - then come to a weekly group where we read aloud together.
We bring photocopies of the texts for you to follow or you can just sit back, close your eyes and listen. We take time over the stories and poems, letting thoughts and understandings emerge and allowing us to reflect on our own experiences.
Each session lasts between one and one and a half hours - and everyone is welcome. For details of the latest sessions, please go to our Events Calendar.
Following the success of Art courses run by the WellSkilled project and the phenomenal response to the 'Art From the Dark' exhibition, we're proud to present this new & exciting arts-based project. ArtSpace offers a safe ‘space’ for people with mental health issues to work towards recovery and good wellbeing through art and peer support.
