We know that Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact are causing stress and worry for lots of people. We will do all we can to ensure Herefordshire Mind’s services and support are kept in place for people in some shape or form.

  • Following updated government guidance, we have decided to cancel all daytime activities at Heffernan House until further notice. Most of our Heffernan House team are working from home, but our main phone line, 01432 271643, has been diverted to a mobile phone which will be switched on between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Feel free to leave us a message if we’re not answering – we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
  • We are also answering enquiries via email – drop us a line at info@herefordshire-mind.org.uk. We’re monitoring this inbox and responding to messages between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. You can also message us on Facebook, but we don’t monitor this as frequently as our emails.
  • Our Safe Haven service is offering telephone and email support on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings between 5pm and 10pm. Call 01432 372407 or email safehaven@herefordshire-mind.org.uk.
  • The Shires is closed to all visitors until further notice. We encourage family and friends to stay in touch with residents via phone, text and email.

We’ve also put together some resources to help you to stay mentally well through this challenging time – you can read these here.
